MAPLEWOOD, NJ – The Maplewood Police Department is investigating a series of incidents reported in recent days. On Monday, July 27, officers responded to The Equipment Manufacturing Group at 71 Newark Way following reports of graffiti on the property. Surveillance footage revealed two unknown individuals spray painting the word 'IRIS' and an image of an eye with a halo and wings. No further property damage has been reported. The same day, officers responded to a report of malicious damage to a vehicle parked at Walgreens, located at 1633 Springfield Avenue.
