A lockdown was lifted at a school in Maplewood, police said Tuesday morning, after an incident with an "irate parent." MAPLEWOOD, NJ — A lockdown at a Maplewood elementary school was lifted after 9 a.m. Tuesday morning after an "irate parent" was taken to a hospital, the Maplewood police said in a message to residents. The police wrote at 9:25 a.m., "Clinton School Elementary staff implemented a lockdown due to an irate parent in the office. Officers responded and the parent was subsequently transported to a local hospital.
