A fifth lawsuit has been filed containing abuse allegations against a former administrator in Maplewood who also taught in Bergen County. MAPLEWOOD, NJ — A California resident who was a student in the South Orange-Maplewood schools 20 years ago has filed a lawsuit against the district for allegedly failing to protect him from years of sexual abuse by a former administrator, NJ.com reported Tuesday. The newsoutlet reported that Michael Healy — who previously had been named in four lawsuits other filed against the Waldwick and Mahwah school districts — is accused of abusing the male student in the South Orange-Maplewood schools between 1997 and 2003.
